It has been such a pleasure being able to welcome guests back to the cottages on the farm and judging by our recent reviews, the feeling is mutual.

Kalmoesfontein provides a very relaxing setting, much needed in these crazy days – to take that to the next level and offer a truly reviving weekend away we have partnered with the [w]holistic mobile treatment company.

Always keen to keep things in the family, this mobile beauty salon is run by one of our cousins, Jana. They keep everything covid-safe and sound, have a look at their treatment menu and contact them directly should you be interested.

Combine any of their menu items with your stay on the farm (or bring some close friends – book six of the same treatments and only pay for five).

Finally, some professional pictures of the latest accommodation offering on the farm.

The Stables cottage is secluded behind the cellar. Two shaded outside areas are great for dining and relaxing.

Staying Stable

We recently turned the old stables on the farm into accommodation.

This two bedroom cottage (each room with an en-suite bathroom) has an open plan kitchen and living room, two outside chill areas and a private splash pool.

The furnishings are luxurious but laid back, the bedding proper, the bathrooms unique and there will be fresh farm eggs and bread baked right here.

We’re in the Wednesday Club…

Perfect Hideaways, who manages bookings for our farm cottage accommodation, have launched a cool initiative called The Wednesday Club.

Basically, every Wednesday, hideaways in The Club (which includes our properties) that don’t yet have a booking for the coming weekend are offered to you with one third off the usual rates!

There are some lovely places on their list, so be sure to sign up.
