Join us on the farm for an evening of music to the sunset, in aid of the local school community

When? Wednesday 26 March, 2014.

Where? the lawns of Kalmoesfontein

What? Talented musicians, picnic blankets, Badenhorst Family Wines and Southern Smokes (for sale) as the sun sets spectacularly in the west.

At R80 per person and R20 per child (under 14) all proceeds goes towards the improvement of the education of the locals.

In the harvest time, when the weather is… HOT

Our last weekend (for a while) lies ahead, as next week we start our harvest with colombard, destined for Badenhorst Brannewyn…

As a Swartlander born and bred I know the interesting fact that Malmesbury once held the record for most Brandy consumed per person living in the town… A South African record (that says a LOT)… It seems Adi has spotted a new marketing opportunity!

Oh dear. This is going to be an interesting year.
